I began playing classical guitar  over 25 years ago, beginning
when I was in high school.  My love of music led me to the
College of Music at the University of North Texas, one of the
premier music schools in the US, where I graduated with a
Bachelor of Music (BM) degree and an all-level teaching
certificate.
As a Guitar instructor registered with the
Suzuki Association of the Americas, I
have attended Suzuki Teacher Training
at the Chicago Suzuki Institute and the
Colorado Suzuki Institute.  My Suzuki
Guitar instructors have been David
Madsen of Connecticut and Andrea
Cannon of Texas.

I am currently president of the Colorado
Springs Guitar Society (where I have
been a member for over 6 years) and
have been director of the Colorado
Springs Guitar Ensemble now for over 3
years.
